Sportsbook & odds: Bet365 wins
Coral: Rating 4/5
Bet365 is certainly a giant in the online betting industry, but bookmakers like Coral put up a really good fight. It came in second in this section, but Coral actually beats Bet365 in certain regards. It is the overall impression and fine details that won the day for Bet365.
When it comes to sports markets, Coral offers the biggest range out of all bookmakers. They boast with more than 45 sports and numerous betting possibilities within each. The odds are average and capped at 105% of the overall profit margin. Coral focuses mainly on UK-based sports. This is their main disadvantage in comparison to Bet365. While the betting options are endless within sports like football and horse racing, coverage of sports outside of the UK is mediocre at best. Odds may be slightly better and more competitive for football matches, horse racing, and North American sports.
Bet365: Rating 5/5
Bet365’s main advantage is the depth of each sports market. It covers just above 30 sports, but betting possibilities within each are endless. And this isn’t the case with most popular sports only. At any given time, there are at least 40 to 50 betting options for less popular sports. Other bookmakers offer 10 at best. In comparison to Coral, Bet365 offered well over 150 betting options for football, while Coral was at around 100. With big events, these numbers can rise up to 300, which is why Bet365 dominates the betting industry. Odds are very competitive and Bet365 isn’t limiting high-stake bettors. The sheer size of each sports market is enough for Bet365 to secure a win in this section.
Bonus for existing players: Coral wins
Coral: Rating: 5/5
Coral definitely deserves praise when it comes to bonuses and promotions for existing players. Few bookmakers offer so many deals that intend to keep regular customers happy and active. Currently, there are about 14 promotions available, and the company constantly updates and releases new promotions based on a monthly, weekly, or daily basis. Among the most prominent promotions are the Coral VIP and Coral Connect. Coral VIP is a loyalty program with four tiers or levels: bronze, silver, gold, and platinum. Each tier requires a certain amount of cash deposit and Priority Points. But each tier gives players numerous benefits, rewards, promotions, enhanced odds, faster withdrawals, and many more. Coral Connect blends in all of the Coral’s accounts together through a Coral Connect Card. With this card, players can reap the benefits of all Coral online betting platforms or resorts. Additional bonuses, promotions, and features are available for players using Connect Card.
Other promotions are:
- Correct4 – players have a chance to win £50 if they answer all 4 questions correctly.
- AccaPlus – a 10% extra on winning accumulators.
- Sunday Free Bet – a free £5 bet every Sunday as long as you bet £25 between Monday and Saturday.
- Extra Place Race – enhanced each way bets every day for certain horse races.
- Houston and Italian Open 7 places – Coral offers 7 places for Houston and Italian Open golf tournaments.
- 10% Lotto Cashback – if you lose £10 on Lotto Market, you will get a 10% cashback.
- Build Your Bet – you can build your bet with the customized game, market and price.
- Horse Racing Enhanced Price – if odds go lower, you will get paid at original price. If odds go higher, you will receive higher winnings.
- Smart Boosts – every day prices are enhanced for selected markets.
- Rewards 4 Racing – points are collected for every £1 bet made on horse racing. Points can be exchanged for race day experiences across UK.
- Free Bets for Lengths – you will win a £1 free bet with every length your horse wins. It caps at maximum of 10 lengths.
Coral vs Bet365: Additional features
Live Stream: Bet365 wins
Live streaming is available for both Coral and Bet365. Bet365 is one of the few bookmakers who introduced this feature straight away, which makes them the winners in this section. Coral’s live streaming is far from bad, but Bet365 just excels in this domain.
Coral: Rating 3/5
Coral introduced the live stream option only recently, and it was a major success. So far, they only cover major events and big games, but a big plus is the availability of live streaming on the mobile app. Live streaming comes with live odds, which makes the experience more complete. The coverage of horse racing is extraordinary, and you can watch it with only £1 on your account. The company has still long ways ahead of them, but they are on the right tracks.
Bet365 Rating 5/5
Bet365 offers an unparalleled live streaming experience. They were among the first bookmakers to introduce this feature and since then, they have improved immensely. They cover all of the major events and games around the world, but I also found coverage of less popular sports. It is available for mobile apps and Bet365 receives big credits for fixing the lag issues live streaming had on phones. Live betting is possible in conjunction with live streaming, which makes this feature all the more fun. Seeing how Bet365 constantly improves, there is no doubt that it will cover even the smallest sporting events in the world.
To use the Live Streaming service you will need to be logged in and have a funded account or to have placed a bet in the last 24 hours.
Cash Out: Bet365 wins
There is a Cash-Out feature on Coral and Bet365. There is no dilemma about the winner in this section, as Bet365 offers so much more customization with their Cash Out.
Coral: Rating 3/5
Coral’s Cash Out is available in all Coral shops on selected and marked betting coupons. You will be provided with a receipt with the Cash Out code when a bet is placed. The availability is never guaranteed, so their Cash Out feature should be used wisely.
Bet365: Rating 5/5
Cash Out on Bet365 is amazing, and it gives players a lot of control and customization. The feature is available for certain games and events only. These bets will be marked with a small Cash Out symbol next to it. Bet365 offers partial, total, and auto Cash Out. Partial Cash Out withdraws parts of the bet and leaves some for a possible positive outcome of the bet. Total Cash Out withdraws all funds before the event is finished. Auto Cash Out allows a threshold to be put for certain bets. Once the bet reaches the values set in the threshold, it automatically settles.
Final Thoughts: Which One to Choose?
Truth to be told both operators are really strong and they deserve their reputation. Both operators can offer you different platforms with very interesting odds and bonuses. Honestly, I’ll go this time with Coral, only because I believe that the platform is very easy to use and a bit more user-friendly than the one bet365 has to offer. Although, the difference between the two operators is really not big at all. Either you choose Coral, either Bet365 I honestly believe you will be satisfied.
