Intended audience
Operators qualified for temporary work at height with the use of rope access and positioning systems (D. Lgs 81/08 Annex XXI) or qualified IRATA, SPRAT, ANETVA, FISAT, DPMC, who intend to access historic buildings.
Prerequisites
Participants must be:
- in good, self-certified physical and mental condition;
- of age.
Objectives
Provide the skills (knowledge and abilities) necessary to safely access to historic buildings.
Course fee
980,00€ per participant at Kong premises (VAT exempt).
The course will be activated upon reaching a minimum of 6 participants and a maximum of 8.
Contents
Theory (8 hours)
- Reference standards for rope access and positioning
- Reference standards to work on historical buildings
- Examples of work on historical buildings
Training (32 hours)
- Inspection and diagnostics; work on roofs, towers and surfaces
- Positioning techniques
- Rescue maneuvers
- Towers, roofs and decks access
- External surfaces access
- Internal surfaces access
PPE and Log Book
Participants are advised to bring their own PPE (if already in possession), clothing and footwear functional for training. If the PPE are not suitable, the organization will provide to supply them.
Who has already the Kong Log Book, should bring it in order to update.
Certification
A qualifying certificate is issued upon successful completion of the course and test.
Payment procedure
Bank transfer within two days of receipt of the course confirmation.
Cancellation
In case of cancellation, Kong S.p.A. will retain:
- 50% of the course fee if cancellation is done 2 working days before the course starts
- the whole fee if cancellation is done the day of the course
Any absences for health reasons entitle the fee to be suspended only if documented by 12 noon on the first day of the course.
